Meet Tester Shauna Guest

Shauna Guest, a financial analyst for the Dean's Administration Finance Office at the School of Pharmacy, has worked at UMB since 2009.
What motivates you to volunteer your time for testing and providing feedback on systems and processes? I was honored when I was asked to become a Change Champion. It allows me to work with other departments and learn how their department handles the financial systems. I love testing the updates because it gives me a first-hand look at the changes coming and uncovers glitches. It gives me pride knowing that my input and testing help all the financial users on campus.
What aspects of your job do you find most enjoyable? I help create and update financial policies and procedures that keep the school compliant. I have developed great friendships, which makes work enjoyable.
What hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work? I love binge- watching shows, reading good books, spending time with my family, and visiting different wineries.
