Leaders in Education: Academy of Presidential Scholars (LEAPS) is an initiative supporting the educational priorities outlined by University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, and seeks to recognize and advance the achievements of educators in each UMB school.
We provide short-term, professional counseling and psychiatric services for currently enrolled full-time and part-time UMB students. Our mission is to help promote and maintain the emotional well-being of UMB students and serve as a resource to the entire university community.
