The Office of Communications and Public Affairs' Photo and Video Team aims to tell the stories of the people of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and their tireless efforts to keep UMB at the forefront of higher education. Everyone at the University has a story to tell, from collaboration in the lab to civility on the streets, and every story deserves to be heard and seen.

- Before you fill out a work request, invite Matthew “Dag” D’Agostino (mdagostino@umaryland.edu) via the Outlook Calendar to the event to make sure the team is available and your date is saved. Then fill out the photography and videography job request form.
- Video and photography work are billed at $100 hourly, photo headshots are $25 per person (under eight people), and drone video is $160 hourly. Every project is different, and every project takes varying time to complete. Post-production (photo and video editing) is included in the photography and videography services. Post-production time will be charged along with the photography capture time.
- We ask that you provide three business days for us to prepare for your needs. For requests made with fewer than three business days' lead time, you will be charged an extra rush fee.
- Standard turnaround time for image delivery is 10 business days. Immediate distribution of social media images can be provided for an added fee of $25.
