Embedded Video

2025 Web Redesign Transition

New website templates are being introduced for 2025. Not all information in the UMB Website Manual has been updated yet, and may still refer to the pre-2025 templates.

There are two different versions of the Embedded Video available: Embedded Video and Embedded Video Two Column.

Embedded Video

Use this to embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo.

Because the video spans the entire column, this content type works best with high-resolution videos in a widescreen format.

Embed Code
Paste the embed code from YouTube or Vimeo here. To comply with Title IX accessibility requirements, please add a title attribute to the iframe portion of the embed code. For example: <iframe title="Title Goes Here" src="…

 

Caption / Credit Text
Optional
Cite the source of the video or tell your viewers briefly what the video is about.

Embedded Video Two Column

Use this to embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo in one column; add text to the second column.

Works well for videos with a smaller resolution or a non-widescreen shape.
