2025 Web Redesign Transition

New website templates are being introduced for 2025. Not all information in the UMB Website Manual has been updated yet, and may still refer to the pre-2025 templates.

General Content is used to add general content to a page, such as paragraphs, images, etc. This is the most commonly used content type.

General Content in the Left Column
General Content can be added to the left column of a page instead of the body. Do do so, create a new section one level below the current section. Name this section “Left Column” and uncheck “Show in navigation.” Any General Content added to "Left Column" will display in the left column of the page. You can also add content to the left column of an entire branch of the site by naming the section "Left Column Branch" instead.
