To ensure a new protocol or modification to an existing protocol is discussed at the next scheduled IBC meeting, it is the Principal Investigator's responsibility to ensure both of the following conditions are met:
- The initial submission was made on or before the Submission Deadline.
- If the protocol was returned to the study team by an IBC analyst for changes, it must be resubmitted by the end of the Time Allocated to Make Changes.

These dates only pertain to IBC protocols that require a vote by the convened committee. Protocols that may be administratively approved (see the IBC Charter for a full description of IBC procedures) will be processed throughout the month as they are received and reviewed.
