Financial Aid

Our mission is to assist every UMB student in securing the necessary funding to finance their education. We believe in the importance of developing a solid spending plan and making informed decisions before borrowing money for educational costs. Our financial aid programs are designed to support students with academic potential who face financial constraints, ensuring they can complete their education. With around 80% of UMB students receiving assistance through our office, we process approximately $194 million annually from various sources, including institutional grants, scholarships, loans, state aid, and federal programs. Aid packages are based on financial need, determined by FAFSA data and program costs.
