Phil Clinard
Fire Protection Assistant
Phil joined UMB in 2023 as a Fire Protection Assistant. Phil has previously been a truck driver in the Army with assignments in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Liberty, NC, 66th Transportation Company in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and the White House Communications Agency in Washington, D.C. Phil was a firefighter/EMT with the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department from 1998-2015, and also performed a secondary role in public safety and fire prevention for most of that time. Phil has also been a tour guide in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA, and Stone Mountain Park, GA. Prior to joining UMB, he most recently worked as an Educator at The Fire Museum of Maryland.
