Wills Week
October 21 - 225 2024 was National Estate Planning Awareness Week, and UMB participated by providing free estate planning resources and a virtual estate planning conference.
Do you have a significant other? Are you a parent? Do you own anything?
If you answer yes to any of these, you need a will.
Nobody likes estate planning, but almost everybody needs to do it. The 2024 Wills Week Conference offered all members of the UMB community an informative path to get started.
This year’s program offered expert-led sessions on essential estate planning topics, including:
- Comprehensive basics
- Special considerations for first-time planners and parents of young children
- How to have important conversations with loved ones
- Making charitable provisions in your estate plan
- Estate planning checklist and more
