Nursing Professor Authors WHO Roadmap on Newborn Care
Nancy Bolan, PhD, MPH, FNP, CNM, Assistant Professor and Director of the Office of Global Health at the School of Nursing, first-authored "Roadmap on Human Resource Strategies to Improve Newborn Care in Health Facilities in Low- and Middle-Income Countries" for the World Health Organization.
The roadmap is aimed at improving quality of care for newborns and supporting countries to reduce neonatal mortality.
