9th Annual Mock World Health Organization International Conference
February 19 - 20
Students are invited to join AMWHO, a simulation of the World Health Assembly, for their virtual conference, "Human Conflict & Global Health: Advocating for Emotional, Physical, and Mental Health as a Human Right."
During the conference, graduate and undergraduate participants will assume the roles of WHO ambassadors, non-governmental organization members, media correspondents, and industry representatives. As with the World Health Assembly, students will collaborate in their regional groups to analyze a myriad of political, economic, social, and public health factors that affect population health, specifically in the context of conflict.
