Law Students Travel to Ireland on First Student Global Experience Since 2020
In June, students from the Carey School of Law and Irish law students at the National University of Ireland School of Law participated in the Galway-Maryland Constitutional Law Summer School focused on "The Global Crisis of Constitutional Democracy."
Under the leadership of Professors Peter Danchin, Mark Graber, and Ioanna Tourkochoriti (Galway), students explored issues related to the foundations of constitutional democracy, including the role that the backlash against global law and institutions play in the contemporary crisis of constitutional democracy.
