Social Justice through an International and Interprofessional Lens: Environmental Justice, Critical Child Welfare Practice, and LGBTQ+ Advocacy
In this 3-credit elective course, UMB students will have an opportunity to explore social justice through an international and interprofessional lens. Students can focus on one of three main issues: Environmental Justice, Critical Child Welfare Practice, and LGBTQ+ Advocacy.
The travel portion of the course will take place from June 8-15 and includes participation in lectures, travel, workshops, and interaction with faculty and students from the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College and the University of Haifa, as well as visits to agencies and communities.
