Carolina Santamaria-Ulloa, PhD, Health Research Institute, University of Costa Rica, will present, “Health Outcomes in Costa Rican Older Adults: The Role of Obesity and Stress” May 23 from 12:15-1:45 p.m.
This virtual presentation will highlight findings from a national cohort study in Costa Rica. Santamaria-Ulloa will talk about what they have learned thus far about older adults from research published in two articles using the CRELES cohort and about how data can be used to influence policy changes.
Santamaria-Ulloa is an Alicia and Yaya Initiative in Global Aging Research Faculty Exchange Fellow.
