In combination with the University of Michigan, UMB has created a free, massive open online course on edX.org called Intimate Partner Violence (IPV): Interprofessional Strategies for Prevention and Response. This is a self-paced, 10- to 15-hour course designed to introduce health care professionals to key concepts and definitions as well as opportunities to implement best practices for identifying, screening, and responding to IPV.
