The UMB Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) is responsible for developing and managing programs to keep UMB students, faculty, and staff safe from fire. The UMB OFM acts on behalf of the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, serving as the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and building code official for the campus community.
