Congdon’s research interests relate to her practice at Mercy Health Clinic. She has evaluated the impact of pharmacist-provided medication therapy management (MTM) on clinical outcomes, such as hemoglobin A1C, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Furthermore, her team has demonstrated the importance of interprofessional, coordinated care on clinical outcomes for patients with poorly controlled diabetes.
Martinez received his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is an active lecturer on the local, national, and international level, with particular interest in abdominal emergencies, as well as medical education.
Horn has over 30+ years of clinical experience in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, outpatient and home care. She is also a board certified geriatric and neurologic specialist. Research interests include balance and falls in adults, professional behavior and interprofessional education, and improving upper extremity function after a stroke.
Gourley's teaching focuses includes family practice, underserved care and interprofessional education.
