UMB leadership feels strongly that our West Baltimore neighbors, as well as stakeholders throughout Baltimore City, should feel at home on the UMB campus. Equally as important, our faculty, staff, and students should be comfortable engaging in activities in our surrounding community in support of K-12 schools, local merchants, nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, and beyond.
To this end, the Office of Community Engagement creates opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage with our broader West Baltimore community in the spirit of being a good neighbor and to support West Baltimore in addressing some of its most pressing needs.
