We woke up to the shock of the devastating collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore early this morning. There are no words to express our heartbreak for those impacted. We are grateful for the hundreds of emergency responders and officials working to support our community during this terrible tragedy.
The sun that broke over the destruction this morning also rose 210 years ago where the bridge's namesake penned the Star Spangled Banner. His famous words spoke of a different terror and how our City bravely fought to overcome it. We know our city, state, and country will again work together to lift up those impacted, their families, and our entire community.
