Board of Regents Staff Awards
Dear Colleagues:
The Board of Regents Staff Award is the highest honor bestowed on staff within the University System of Maryland. Each year, the board recognizes several employees in the following areas:
- Exceptional contribution to the awardee's institution and/or unit
- Outstanding service to students in an academic or residential environment
- Extraordinary public service to the University or greater community
- Effectiveness and efficiency
- Inclusion, multiculturalism, and social justice
If you know a colleague who goes above and beyond, a colleague whose work serves this institution and its people consistently and exceptionally well, please consider nominating him or her for this award. Each awardee receives a $2,000 stipend and is invited to a special recognition ceremony hosted by the Board of Regents.
