All Staff Senate General Meetings are open to the public unless otherwise stated. Our meeting minutes archive describes the events of past meetings, including a list of speakers and attendees. Meeting minutes are stored on the Staff Senate Town Square and access requires authentication using a valid UMB User ID.

Our monthly newsletter, the Staff Senate Source, provides staff with timely information and updates. To view past issues of the newsletter, visit our page on UMBengaged.

The Staff Senate is governed by a set of bylaws, which they follow as they represent the interests of UMB exempt and non-exempt staff members.

The Community Outreach Committee contributes to and coordinates events related to improving the welfare of individuals and families in the local Baltimore community.

The University System of Maryland Board of Regents gives awards to exceptional staff members each year.
