Lower Your Event's Footprint

Low-Waste Events
The links below offer tips for low-waste events, whether big or small. You can choose a few practices to implement, and we even scale from Good, Better, and Best practices.
Zero-Waste Events
What is a zero-waste event? It's when you host an event where 90% or more of its waste is diverted from the landfill or incinerator. Take a step further in your event planning and check out our guide below!
Green Eats
Our office has created a Green Eats List and interactive map that can be used the next time you are looking for a vendor for a campus event, your next office lunch, or simply a personal meal. All of the vendors listed are local and within 2 miles of our campus. They were evaluated on their green practices through plant-based menu options, bulk options (food, beverages, condiments) for catering, compostable/biodegradable wares (plates, utensils, cups), and sourcing locally. The information gathered is from businesses’ responses. We hope to grow this list, so make sure to check back periodically for new Green Eats!
If you use our Green Eats List, we would love for you to let us know if the information we have posted about the business you choose is correct by taking this brief survey. General feedback also is welcome and appreciated.
If you are a vendor, are within 2 miles of our campus, meet some of the green practices above, and are interested in being on our list, please fill out this form.
