Student Fee Advisory Board

Student Government Association Fee supports the University Student Government Association (USGA) and its associated operations and programming. 

The shuttle fee supports the operation of the UM Shuttle. 

The student parking fee supports the operation of student parking on campus and is only for students who park on campus. This fee covers maintenance, renovations, operating costs, and increased expenditures of the parking garages. This fee also contributes towards the Lexington Market Garage Rooftop lease, as well as the parking contractors at each garage, which increase 2% per year.

Campus Center Infrastructure Fee supports URecFit + Wellness, Event Services, Campus Life Business Services, One Card, and the debt service (bond) for the building. 

*In AY 20/21 the fee was renamed from Campus Center Infrastructure and Student Services Fee to Campus Center Infrastructure Fee. The fee was separated to better reflect what the fees entail, and the new names are Campus Center Infrastructure Fee and Student Services Fee. 

The Student Services Fee covers student programming and support services for students. Some of these services include the writing center, student development and leadership, disability services, and international student support. 

*This fee was renamed to Student Services Fee for AY 20/21. Prior to AY  20/21 students who were on campus paid a Campus Center Infrastructure and Student Services Fee, but all students have access to these services. The Campus Center Infrastructure and Student Services fee separated to better reflect the purpose of the fee.

This was a new fee in AY 17/18.

In AY 18/19 it was proposed and approved to apply the fee to the summer students. 

This fee was renamed from Online Student Services Fee to Off Campus Student Services Fee in AY 19/20.

Housing Fee supports the operation of Pascault Row.

Prior to AY 24/25 Pascault rates were separated by non-renovated and renovated. 

The Student Technology Fee provides technology support centrally and to each school. 

Student Account Receivable Late Fee:   If payment is not received by the published due date, the semester outstanding balance is subject to a one-time late fee of 5% to a maximum of $200.00.
