University Student Government Association (USGA)
USGA is the Universitywide student government association representing all UMB students. It consists of Student Senators who are elected each year to represent all seven schools.
Chinese Student and Scholar Association (CSSA)
CSSA is an organization that represents the voices of the Chinese community within the University. CSSA’s goal is to build a strong sense of community in a home-away-from-home for Chinese students on campus.
ECO-Environmental Justice in Action (ECO)
ECO is a Universitywide, USGA-affiliated student organization dedicated to amplifying the value of environmental justice (EJ) work and fostering greater knowledge and awareness of the interconnections between climate change, health equity, and the UMB professional disciplines.
Global Medical Brigades (GMB)
GMB is a student-run, interdisciplinary organization where students provide medical aid to areas in Honduras, Panama, Ghana, or Nicaragua with little access to health care. Students from all schools are welcome to volunteer and participate.
Indian Association
The Indian Association is an organization that focuses on Indian-identifying students, providing a space on campus that builds community.
International Student Organization (ISO)
ISO welcomes international and non-international students to learn and participate in activities that promote the celebration of diversity and cultures from around the world.
Jewish Student Association (JSA)
JSA is an organization that offers the Jewish student community a place to meet and provide support with other students of Judaic heritage.
Muslim Student and Scholars Association (MSSA)
MSSA focuses on providing support, educational opportunities, and overall community for Muslim-identifying students on campus.
Project Jump Start (PJS)
PJS assists homeless individuals in meeting their basic needs through weekly food, clothing, and toiletry drives. Additionally, PJS provides homeless individuals in Baltimore with the information and support they need to access available resources in the community.
United Students of African Descent (USAD)
USAD interacts with the UMB and Baltimore communities to achieve its mission of providing educational, cultural, and social programs for members and participants.
