Amenities

UMB students and URecFit and Wellness members may sponsor up to two guests per visit. The cost per guest is $10. Guests must be 18 years or older.

• Fee must be paid upon entry and is the responsibility of the member or student.
• Guests must present a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport).
• A guest pass form must be completed at the time the guest fee is collected.
• If a guest and the same sponsoring member return later that day, they must re-present photo ID and their paid pass receipt for the same day.
• Solicitation to gain facility access is prohibited and is grounds for refusal of entry, removal from a facility, and/or surrender of paid guest fees.
• The sponsor will take full responsibility for the conduct of their guests and any destruction of equipment or facilities caused by guests. This includes social interactions and financial liabilities.
• Guests must remain with their sponsor and depart when their sponsor departs.
• Sponsors must check out equipment for guests.
• Guests may not participate in intramural sports activities.
• Guest passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Guest passes are valid for the day they were purchased.

Guided tours are available upon request. Any group with a member younger than 18 is required to be led by URecFit and Wellness staff. 

• Daily lockers: Daily Lockers are available free in all locker rooms. All lockers must be cleared out by the end of the day. Belongings may not be left overnight. Personal locks and belongings will be removed by URecFit and Wellness staff at closing.
• Long-term lockers: A limited number of lockers are available for long-term usage. Lockers are available external as well as internal to the locker rooms. Fees vary by location and size. If you are interested in a long-term locker, stop by the business desk for more information. If you would like to renew your locker agreement please visit our online portal URecFit Live. Once on the portal, select the Locker Renewals icon. Students, Faculty and Staff of UMB can log in by clicking the red button and sign in using your UMID credentials. All other URecFit members can establish a profile by clicking "Sign Up" and use the email associated with your URecFit and Wellness membership. Select the red "Renew" button and make your payment online by using a credit card.
  
  • Outside lockers:  These lockers are located in the corridor next to Room 415.  Both small (6-Tier Size) and Medium (3-Tier Size) are available.
  • Inside lockers: These lockers are located in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. These are designated medium (3-Tier Size) lockers.

The URecFit and Wellness membership card is available for UMB Alumni, Retirees and Sponsored Members that do not have a valid UMB One Card or Staff ID to gain quick access into URecFit and Wellness.

The URecFit and Wellness membership card does not permit access into the SMC Campus Center. A valid government, state, University, or work-issued ID is required to gain access into the Campus Center.

URecFit and Wellness is fully authorized to deny entrance without possession of valid identification. Individuals who present false identification or whose ID is presented by another person will be considered patron misconduct and theft of services. Misuse of an ID may result in loss of facility access, reporting of the incident to their dean's office, and possible criminal charges subject to jail time and/or fine.

URecFit and Wellness provides vouchers for certain times to be used in the Pratt Garage located at 646 W. Pratt St. The individual will pull a ticket when entering the garage and when they leave the garage they will present the ticket and voucher, obtained at the business desk, to the parking attendant. URecFit and Wellness does not collect any money for the vouchers. All payment is done with parking services. 

• Vouchers are not valid Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. 
• The vouchers produce a flat rate of $2 for a period not exceeding two hours.
• If an individual stays longer than two hours, or is outside the allowed time frame, it will default to the hourly visitor rate.

Metered parking is available on Penn and Pratt streets.

Both saunas are currently closed.

Saunas are located in the Men's and Women's Locker Room. The temperature is set between 160 - 170 degrees in accordance with American College of Sports Medicine's Health and Fitness Facility Standards and Guidelines. 

The Men's and Women's locker rooms contain 8 shower stalls each as well as a separate all gender locker room with 2 private shower stalls for use. Each shower stall comes equipped with body wash/shampoo.

Shower and workout towels are provided at no charge. When finished, please drop the used towel in one of the towel bins.
