Wellness Suite

Closures and Alerts

Limited Towel Service: Towel service is limited until further notice. Patrons are encouraged to bring a personal towel when possible. We apologize of any inconvenience.

Visit the Wellness Suite

Rest, Recharge, Inspire Yourself.

Please visit our wellness suite on the 5th floor of the SMC Campus Center. Situated within URecFit and Wellness, the Wellness Suite is a safe space to take a meaningful break. Visitors come to meditate, pray, rest, read, color/doodle, and more.

We ask that you refrain from cell phone use, working on lap tops, eating, drinking, and talking. This is intended to be a quiet space for students to retreat when needed.

Open art therapy studio Arts and craft supplies are now available in the wellness suite during URecfit and Wellness hours. Come doodle, paint, draw, craft anytime during the URecFit and Wellness hours. 

Calling artists and crafters!! We are seeking individuals intersted in leading an art projects, crafts, crochet, knitting, etc. Please email us with ideas, suggestions, or requests for our open art therapy studio.

Upcoming Events:

Crafts Corner Events offered monthly. Instruction and supplies will be provided along with light refreshments.

Book Well, is a health and wellness initiative to encourage reading for pleasure and stress reduction. Research shows that regular reading improves brain connectivity, increases vocabulary and comprehension, prevents cognitive decline, and strengthens empathy. Reading also aids in sleep readiness, stress reduction, lowers blood pressure and heart rate, fights depression symptoms, and contributes to a longer life. 

 Donations can be made in the wellness suite located on the 5th floor of URecfit and wellness. 

Facility Hours

  Weekdays: 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  Sundays: Closed
