Nauera Abou Abdou is a second year DDS student at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She earned her BS in biology with a concentration in pre-health professions from Stockton University in Galloway, NJ. Currently, she also conducts research on biomaterials in dentistry at the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. As senator for her second year dental student body, she hopes to bring forward her class' concerns and problems where they can be heard and resolved, as well as share their exciting plans, events, and successes with the rest of the UMB community. She hopes to be a contributing effort that keeps her classmates informed about their community, cultivates a sense of unity and belonging, and promote awareness for on going conversations, issues, and events. When not busy studying, Nauera enjoys interacting with friends, walking, or watching a movie with good cup of chai and cookies.
