A Single Vaccine Could Help Protect Against Malaria, Dengue and Yellow Fever
Mosquito-borne diseases (malaria, dengue and yellow fever), have a severe impact resulting in millions of deaths worldwide, hitting the world’s vulnerable populations the hardest. Researchers at the UMSOM have begun testing an experimental vaccine that is designed to protect against these diseases.
Effective March 1, 2017, all UMB faculty, staff and students traveling internationally on UMB business or programs are required to register their international travel itineraries and emergency contact information in the UMB International SOS travel registry. International SOS is a worldwide information, medical, and travel security assistance provider for a full range of support to those traveling internationally.
