CGEI is Excited to Announce the 2019 GLOBALtimore Fellows

CGEI is pleased to announce the inaugural 2019 GLOBALtimore Fellow cohort. The Fellowship encourages curricular internationalization and will support faculty from six UMB schools as they integrate global concepts into new or existing courses in their respective schools. This initiative is part of the internationalization process currently underway on campus.

Register for IHV2019 Conference, on the Theme of 'Progress in HIV/AIDS: Challenges in 2020'

You are invited to join us on Thursday and Friday, October 3-4 for IHV2019, “Progress in HIV/AIDS: Challenges in 2020." In its twenty-first year, IHV2019 will convene to address strategies to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and the intersection of HIV and opioid use disorder.

Global Safety & Security

Effective March 1, 2017, all UMB faculty, staff and students traveling internationally on UMB business or programs are required to register their international travel itineraries and emergency contact information in the UMB International SOS travel registry.    International SOS is a worldwide information, medical, and travel security assistance provider for a full range of support to those traveling internationally.   Check out the UMB International SOS portal page here for more information and to download the assistance app.  Questions?  Contact Bonnie Bissonette at bbissonette@umaryland.edu.
